As far a reels go they have quite a few LH reels but nothing in right hand.

Went today and really didn’t see anything worth buying. Lot of junk. Had some decent optics in the case.
The whole store is in a weird place. They’ve got a ton of Cabela’s branded stuff on clearance and they started selling redhead. The Cabela’s line of camp and guidewear stuff is waaaay better than the Bass Pro branded stuff, so I really hope they don’t do something hasty and just convert Cabela’s over. There’s a lot of higher quality stuff there that would suck to lose.

Went this evening. Not much as far as reels or rods. Some random bow parts. Ended up stockin up on columbia ski jackets for the kids. 30$ a piece. Theyll be set for the next few years. Other than that, not much. Store is pretty bare lookin in general. Door girl said they were waiting for new stock. Gonna carry redhead and ascent. The whole camo section to the right by the ammo was nothin but casual clothes

Went yesterday as well. Pretty strange to see they started carrying the Bass Pro logo shirts and the Johnny Morris reels as well.

Getting rid of the cabelas line is frickeddddddd. Of course I think we all expected that to happen though. Buy the competition and completely frick them all up and sell them off to die a slow miserable death

Are they getting rid of all of the cabelas line or just some of it? I am not a fan of the BassPro gear.

You would think they’d cannibalize the higher quality brands though. Which i suppose they may still do. I’m sure bass Pro already has standing contracts and product with Red Head brand that it will take a little time to rebrand.
