I'm looking at the permit and it says a copy of the Hunters Education card must accompany the application. It also requires a copy of a drivers license. What do I do for these?

As long as it’s a certified copy stamped. You can request as many of those as you want. I went ahead and got a couple for each of my kids in case we ever lost the original.

Pretty sure you can bring your birth certificate to a notary and make an “official copy” to send in.

I did this for my 4 year old this past summer. It was a very painless process. Took about 15 minutes at the wildlife and fisheries office.

its a great investment but you might just want to wait until they are old enough to figure out if they like hunting and fishing.

as unthinkable as that is to most of us, some people just arent nature lovers

but i suppose it never hurts to just get it for them any way

Licenses over 3-4 years will cover getting them a dual lifetime when under 4.

I’m going to get all mine licenses shortly, been putting it off and now 1 is over 4.

No, if you go in person they won’t keep the original birth certificate.
