You've got a phenomenal rod coming.

I love the 843, but I need something a little more versatile since I fish crankbaits as deep as 15'.

Any opinions on those inflatable hip belt pfd's? Still regulation legal? I saw a camo one on sale and that thing is tiny and would be great for yak fishing and yak duck hunting. A little expensive though.

Not sure. Best thing for saving space would be one of the auto inflating ones, but those things are so damn pricey.

If I cod just replace 2 of the ones in my boat with them it would make a pretty big difference in storage space.

I'm in a yak so having an inflating Pfd that's camo and fanny pack size would be great for fishing and duck hunting.

Can't check on my phone, but look up the LDWF regs on PFD's and check what type/class of PFD the one you found is.
