Not the biggest smallie, but I thought some of you might like to see the colors:

Just caught my first smallie a few weeks ago and I’m hooked. They’re beautiful fish and fight like you’re playing tug-of-war with a bulldog. Great fun.

Heading to the Ozarks in a few weeks. Hoping to catch a mess of them!

Growing up near Pickwick and fishing there most of my life, not much in freshwater that's more fun than a good smallmouth.

I caught my share when I lived Bull Shoals/Buffalo River area, never any monsters.
That’s one fish I could never bring myself to eat.

Never caught one, but they look like they would be fun as hell to fish. Like goggle eye down here is.
