plywood theory laughs
i am just a fool looking for enlightenment. I brought the plywood video here!
it seems to me that there are many factors that go into penetration, and resulting blood trail.

i honestly dont know the answer.
There was a guy on here the other day that said that he saw on tv about a kind of broadhead being the best, therefore he was gonna go out and buy this kind to hunt with... During the thread, he said that he had read another article about somekind and now he was gonna buy that kind... Hell, it may have been in this thread?? Not sure...
Anyway, I kept telling him (and i believe he got tired of hearing it), that to just buy something, practice with it, have confidence in it, and stick with it... Try and make the best shot that you can and worry less about some kind of super mystery broadhead that will save your arse with a bad shot.. Ain't gonna happen..

How many times have the ones participating in this thread and the previous broadhead thunderdomes repeated themselves over and over?
I'm guessing each poster has said the same thing by changing the wording of their sentences 20+ times.

Oh me? Yeah I've bought the broadheads I wanted and I have practiced with them and I'm confident with them too. A bad shot is a bad shot no matter what broadhead you are using. Actually I stated on here which broadheads I bought and how they shot.

If you think anybody is arguing for any reason other than passing the time, you're an idiot. Nobody takes this shite seriously.

at the end of the day everybody grabs their crusty arse bow and dull fixed blade/mechanical broadheads. Hits a deer too high and changes their stance on broadhead efficiency because they didnt recover the animal.

False, Chad slits his wrists when someone condemns muzzys

I shoot a Hoyt Alpha Burner. I don't honestly know all of the specs on it but the guy I got it from had a custom string made for it and he put cam and a 1/2's on it. The arrows are Easton Maximas I believe. I shoot 100 grain field tips/broadheads. The guy I bought the bow from told me he shot it through the chronograph and with the arrows he gave me it is shooting between 315-320 fps.
I need to know the length and spine of your arrow. For instance, if you are shooting a 29 inch .400 spine arrow you will have a hard time getting a fixed head to group with a field tip. The arrow would flex too much at the shot and would plane with a fixed head.
If the arrows are maximas they are made by carbon express. They will be marked with 250(around a .400 spine), 350(.337 spine),or 450(.298 spine)
If the arrows are made by Easton they will have the actual spine marked on the arrow, .400,.340, or .300

Yep
We all need something to blame other than ourselves. I'm just providing arguments.

I stated on here which broadheads I bought and how they shot.
