There really isn't an argument. You were measuring blade length which is pretty damn funny.

You should be. Slick trick blades are sharp as frick.

Remember, aim small mis small.

Aim for the exit wound to be on the lower 1/3 of the deers body.

my new motto bout to be, buy better bow, shot will get better.

ETA: I just had this bow restrung like a year ago or so and its already fraying cause i was using bad form and string kept popping on my arm guard.

I still dont get how your stance is more valid than mine. You are going on "it looks like it tears up more shite so it definitely does"

You're just not getting it. How long the cut it is absolutely irrelevant. Once the tips of the edge are cutting who cares what the blade length isn front are doing? Width matters. Distance along the blade doesn't other than what was discussed before about rake and angle. This isn't difficult. This also isn't a number of blades discussion. That's totally different.

in 40 years of shooting deer, imo, that's one of the most important, in fact i would push that to lower 1/4 of body..

Even back in the old days, when honestly, pass thru's were few and far between (due to slow bows, thick arrows, large warlike hatchet broadheads, etc.) it still is better imo, to hit low, assuming you get in the kill zone, even without a pass through.. gravity helps when the hits are lower..

agreed... once an area is cut, it's cut, unless blades are widening and cutting more width, it's a mute issue..

Go for it. I use 3 blade only. Probably fo the same reason as downs shift.

Lets experiment. DS cut 1 wrist 2-3/4" to the bone & then cut the other 4 ways 1", hold each over a cup & see which one fills up the fastest

i honestly dont know the answer.

Logic would tell you a 2 blade would give you more penetration over a 3 or 4 blade due to less friction...

However i think there is a trade off for internal trauma and size and geometry of exit wound going 2 blade...
shite idk i am hungry for lucnh

Width is going to affect that.

Ohh. You don't get it. Poor wording I guess. My bad. I'm not talking about the actual length of the blade itself

Shoot each one opened through a piece of paper. The amount of paper cut will be equal for each one. That's what I'm talking about. Blades perpendicular to the ferrule.
