Exact same thing. Bow fishing should be outlawed

I’m actually with you but where do you draw the line because founder gigging is essentially the same thing and no one has a ethical issue with that. But some of these bowfishing outfits are sketchy. They take out a bunch of guys on small boats a literally shoot fish in a barrel including killing too many gar. And I’ve even seen stingrays on dockshots.

As someone that’s been stung by a stingray, I don’t even care.

Kill them all.

Deer population can’t handle the unfair advantage. Redfish can. Until scientist say we have a shortage in redfish, let them keep at it. Maybe you should get out and live a little and go try.

Are you against all the speckled trout guides?

Even though I don’t like the idea of it as a sportsman, this is where I’m at.

It’s not that I’m for protecting stingrays, it’s the idea of these outfits pushing a kill anything we see mentality.

100%. Nobody ever agrees about everyone else’s sportsman ways. There is a lot I don’t agree with, but until proven it’s not sustainable, I cannot complain.

I bet you couldn’t go bowfishing and come back with fish. If it’s so easy start bowfishing and stop crying.

No minimum size limit on flounder and no game fish status = not the same thing.

The taking of big gar is pretty despicable and so is the blatant destruction of the marsh. The shooting of a legal limit of redfish isn't any different than catching a limit at night with minnow under a cork. Their tactics and propulsion are the issue.

Most of the big bucks in my area are nocturnal, if you want to kill them you need a good light and you have to drive a lot of roads. It’s still hard hunting, especially having to sleep during the day to be really alert at night. Got to be in shape too, as people be upset when a deer gets harvested in their front yard, so you got to be able to load them quickly. Now Bow fishing is so much easier, but culling up a good stringer of Bass can take most of the night, then you have to clean them, or find someone you can give them too, so you can go back for more. Hard work at night, esp in stumpy areas....

I love to shoot turkeys over corn, and kill mallards with electronic calls with unlimited shells. I also gig redfish and use slat traps nets to catch bass!!!!

What’s everyone’s opinion on that ??

Replace all listed above( Turkey=deer mallard=snow goose redfish/bass=catfish)
After that I’m a ok guy now right ?

Nah.

It’s legal and fun AF so I’m gonna keep doing it.

ETA: Would there be a fuss if I sightcasted them instead of shot them?
