This is my first bow so forgive any ignorance i may post. Just got it last weekend. Have shot it 300-400 times since. Today after about 15 shots, I smacked my arm guard pretty bad. Bad enough to rip the top layer of the guard.

Nothing was noticeable at first, but several shots later I noticed the bow feeling weird during drawback. And then while aiming I noticed it felt like the string was slowly tensing while I was holding back my arrow. Like the let off was getting less and less while i was holding my arrow back.

While walking I heard something on the bow rattling which isn't supposed to happen. Near the bottom cam, there is a small pin that goes in a hole with some letters. It was loose. I tightened it hoping that was the problem. It felt good the next time I pulled back, but after holding it about 30 seconds to check, I felt it start slipping again and then all let off disappeared and my hand was yanked forward. Anyone have any idea?

I hope it isn't a manufacturers flaw, I have that same bow. Bring it back where you bought it maybe.

Yea I tried but the guy was closed. I'm kind of pissed off. I really liked it and had no problem during the first couple hundred shots

That's probably the draw length adjustment. I'm not very familiar with the brute though so I'm not sure.

I've never heard of any of this stuff happening with any bow.

I just pulled it back and it felt fine holding it. But when I eased the string down it pulled harder than normal. Hopefully it's easy and cheap to fix.

I wouldn't fool with it until you get it checked out. If something snaps on you, you're gonna have a broken bow and a world of hurt.

I don't know anything about that particular bow, but you have something loose on your cam. It's probably slipping and changing the lenth of your cables. Don't pull it back until you take it someplace that has a press and get it fixed.

Shot several Mathews, every PSE I tried felt better Others say the opposite. I guess it just varies from person to person.
