I learned to shoot on a single action .22
Even when I owned a double action .357, my first instinct was always to cock it and shoot it. Always.
I want a blackhawk pretty bad. I might buy that convertible one that shoots .357/9mm, just for the frick of it. Its not supposed to be super accurate with 9mm, but the ammo's cheap.
Does yours have fixed or adjustable sights?

My .22 revolver has fixed sights and I find I like them more than my buddy's Ruger .22 with adjustable sights.

Me too. I got a 357 SW but the blackhawk looks nice. I wouldn't mind having a 9mm semi just because it's cheap to shoot. But 38sp ammo is cheap enough.

I have had no issues with it. Pretty damn solid for the price. Not much can go wrong with a single action revolver

I've shot one and it's nice. It aint a single six, but it goes bang and it's pretty accurate. I just don't like how it doesn't have a transfer bar so you have to leave it on a dead cylinder. I do that with my blackhawk anyway, but somebody who doesn't know could hurt themselves with it.
