Boker Automatic knives - Do any of y'all have one and if so, what do you think ?

I only have one auto knife.. Kershaw Launch 6, which I really like, but wanting a new knife and the Boker Autos look pretty sweet, and less than half the price of my Kershaw.

Any of y'all have any first hand experience with these knives ?

I'm looking at this one specifically.

My first auto knives were Boker AK47's, inexpensive but fun and still work fine. If you already have Launch autos then you pretty much have really good bang-for-the-buck knives and there's really nothing that Boker will offer unless you simply just like them.

For autos, I'm an OTF guy. Microtech FTW!

But $50 for a beater knife is a good deal.

My son has a Boker Kalishikov. It is a really impressive knife for the money. Holds a good edge, snaps out with authority and feels really solid.

I've carried the Kalash for 20 years now. Best value out there. LINK

Just bought a Boker Magnum. I hate the term value for the money, but it applies here.

I got one as a gift about 8-9 years and it has sat in the box the entire time besides initially checking it. I opened the box up a few weeks ago and it won’t flip out, I think the spring is broken......that’s my very, very limited experience with them.

I don’t have a Boker auto but I’ve got several Boker kitchen and camp knives and they hold a hell of an edge. As far as autos I go with raven crest tactical OTF (they’re expensive though). Buck has a 110 auto but I’m not sure of the price, I do know my standard 110 is from 1998 and has only had one blade change for free because I snapped the tip off on bone.

Automatic weapons,?

Why in the world do you need automatic weapons?

Even fully semi automatic is crazy.

Though I never understood the difference between fully semi automatic and semi Automatic or is it semi semi automatic? Or is it fully semi Automatic and not fully semi automatic?

And now you are getting them in knife form!!!!!

These have to be assault automatic knives!!!!

The are military grade knives!!!!!!

You don't need them...

I have a fixed blade Boker and the steel on it is very good steel from what I’ve seen.

My automatics are either Benchmade or Microtech.

I have an assortment of EDC knives. I have a Boker Kalishnikov and was so impressed with it I got a mini version and bought one for my father and had it engraved with his Navy ship information on the Blade. He loves it.

For under $100, a great option. You could certainly do much worse. I recommend.
