ALX,
I have no problem with not going onto someone's property but my deal is don't continue to use up the states resources to fund your own pocketbook. Remove the public water that flows to these properties and they would have no access themselves. Its kind of like having property that is only accessible by using a state or parish road. If the state or parish closed that road now what is said property worth. Its all fun and games as long as the property owner is sitting pretty using the states resources for there own gain.

Only in Louisian does this mindset permeate and gets continually used as a talking point for water access.
Dry ground is not the same legally as air and water in almost every state and at the federal level.
Air and water are legally different than terra firma... in most cases/states...
and are considered public things.
Navigate any coastal waters outside of Louisiana and you'll appreciate the lack of controversy others have. This is also starting to be noticed nationally (BASS pulling out of tourneys here) and it's beginning to cost us $$$$.
Bayou Black announcing it's closure due to this issue is another example, but locally.
Not recognizing we have an uniquie legal problem here in Louisiana is akin to planting our proverbial heads in the sand. The status quo is not cutting it.

Actually, it hurts my pocketbook, since I have to pay taxes on it, but hey keep being ignorant.

So all area covered by water which is connected some way to a river/lake/gulf/whatever should either be public, or dammed off? So that people can fish where they want? frick that.

So because I have a differing opinion on a very controversial subject I'm ignorant? What a liberal thing to say to a fellow outdoorsman. Dissention amongst us is what will be the deciding factor in all decisions throughout life. A house divided will never stand. Have a good day jackleg.

quote:The air isnt public actually. The state has specific written laws in order to note that. Because, air is treated differently than land. Which in most places water is too
Are we going to remove public air too?
Which was Docks point, that flew over your head. Your penis shaped sarcastic head

I need to start a survey to figure out how many of these people are opposed to dogs crossing property lines
Posted on 3/14/18 at 2:39 pm to AlxTgr
This was aimed more at the Oil companies that are using the public waterways to access there private property.

The best part about you being a piece of shite is, you are a piece of shite over wanting to break the law.

See, I would never have entered these discussions in the first place, because I really just don't care. It's just that your side makes such terrible illogical arguments that I can't pass them up
You see the same shite on the rant whenever a coach gets in trouble. Terrible terrible arguments.
