Just wondering if the Board thinks that one can really purchase a boat at reduced prices at a boat show versus regular buying through the dealer? I'm in the market for a moderate priced boat and discounts were pretty impressive at the boat show. And by the way there were more boats and things than I could have ever seen in a day in Houston. Though not my intended target, I loved the 42' Yellowfin with four 450 Yammys. It was just a little under a million, I didn't know if that was a good deal or not.

Yes... You're not getting over on the dealer though. They are making money off the sale.

If you have to buy new then boat show is the way to go. Less time frame for negotiation though so you better know your purchase price walking in the door

I would have bought two just to save that much more.

Thanks. But they were 450s and white in color. Could have been another brand. I saw them. You didn’t.

there used to be a time when boat shows had great deals and it was their superbowl to make the largest volume of sales all year so huge discounts could be found sometimes

now every day regular prices get raised 30-40% higher and then they offer 25-30% off as a boat show deal and you still end up paying 5-10% above the price you could have bought it at the dealer for last week

i found its best to find what you like, then call around about a week or two after the boat show when they are jacked up with no space to put the boat show inventory back in their lots and then you "might" get a good deal thats less then normal every day price

boat shows are for window shopping only now and anything you buy there will be higher prices then normal costs

Got glasses. But I don’t give a shite really what the engines were. To be honest I wasn’t looking at the million dollar boat price point. But if you are I bow to you. I can only cash buy a boat in the treefiddy range.

Not gonna open the link. I saw 450s. Said as much on the engine serial number.
