Can anyone suggest where I can get 12-24 blueberry bushes? in pots is fine. I'm in Mandeville can't seem to find any and none in the market bulletin.
Thanks in advance.

Don't live there, but quick google search turned up this list of places that sell LA "super plants"... one of which was the rabbiteye blueberry:
LINK
I'd guess you already tried these 3:
GARDEN SPOT OF MANDEVILLE
MANDEVILLE LA 985-674-6254
REECE LANDSCAPE CO., LLC
MANDEVILLE
LA
504-782-3123
THE PRICE IS RIGHT NURSERY
MANDEVILLE
LA
985-635-1000
But if not, maybe start there, and then expand to other nearby towns?

I just ordered 2 from Stark Brothers. I ordered 2 others last year and both are doing well even though I have neglected monitoring the ph in their pots.
I'm moving them to the ground this weekend.
Type in your zip code and it will tell you which ones to plant in your area.

I have bought from Stark Brothers in the past but the ones you get locally at Home Depot / Lowes are larger and usually produce quicker. Personally I wait till the end of the year (usually Oct-Nov) and you can pick up the 1 gallons ones for $3 each and the 3 gallons ones for about $6 each. Few years back I asked how much if I took all over of them and they sold me 28 plants for $28.

Try Bantings in Lacomb. They should have good varieties for this area.

Deerfield Nursery couple of miles north of Folsom has them. They have a website.
$7.00 for gallon and $10.00 for 3 gallon.
The gallon plants are really nice size and cheaper than what you would normally find at the box stores' for same size.
Once they get established, light applications of azalea/camellia food (none close to the base of the plants) a few times a year and plenty of pine straw around them and they will take off.
LSU AG website has all the info you need.
Call Deerfield first as they sell a lot of them

quote:Fun fact: Camellia sinensis var. sinensis and Camellia sinensis var. assamica, are two major varieties grown today.[2] White tea, yellow tea, green tea, oolong, dark tea (which includes pu-erh tea) and black tea are all harvested from one or the other, but are processed differently to attain varying levels of oxidation. Kukicha (twig tea) is also harvested from Camellia sinensis, but uses twigs and stems rather than leaves. Wikipedia
