Wife and I will be in LC in a couple of weeks. Anyone have any recommendations on charter captains to catch some Specks? It would be just the wife and I (no pics). I know it will be hot as balls!! TIA

Capt. Daigle
Give my buddy Capt Daigle a call if Kemo is booked. Even on the toughest of days he has consistently put me on the fish. Been fishing with him for 10+ years now, multiple trips a year.
He would be on the east side of the lake out of Calcasieu point

depends on where you are staying and which side of the lake you want to meet up on.....staying in LC is a closer drive to East side of lake versus West side or Hackberry...

CB is a good guy and the 2-3 guys that help him are all good fishermen.
Honestly, 99% of the guides on BL can catch fish, after that it’s strictly who you get along with best.
My #1 deal is having a fun day on the water, #2 finding fish for clients.
You need to also have realistic expectations (looking at you Louisiana people).

Fished with Capt Daigle today (CB’s cousin and one of the guys who helps him)
Went to Sabine
3 man limit of trout
Few 3-4 pounders caught and released
4 reds
2 flounder
1 black drum
Was a great day. Got it done despite blowing its arse off out the west
