If you are looking at KO2's, then the Ridge grappler is a better comparison than the Terra grappler. Get the Ridge Grapplers and you won't be sorry.

KO2’s are all I ride. I had them on my Sierra and now my Canyon AT. I also run them on a 100 series LC built for overlanding. I love them so much I would put them on my wife’s XC60 if she let me.

I always swear by Toyo Open Country A/T II's. I had 3 sets of them and they were excellent tires. I will be getting the III's for my next set. Very quiet and tough. I ran over a 1/2 in bolt and was able to just patch it and the tire was fine for the duration of its life.

To throw something else in there, I had Goodyear wrangler all terrains on my last truck and they were excellent. 40k miles when I got rid of it and MAYBE halfway worn. Have transforce AT on my truck now and they are decent also through 30k miles they are about halfway gone. I think they're a good bit cheaper tire.

I had Toyo a/t 2's as well and liked them alot a year or two ago. I have seen a few guys get the a/t3's on f150forum and a couple of them have been saying they are oddly loud for an all terrain, and louder than the a/t2. Not sure if maybe they are just old guys and imagining it or something, but one guy took them back for hankooks. if quiet is what you want you may wanna do some research on the Toyo OC a/t3 before you get them, or don't assume they will be the exact same as the a/t 2. They definitely have a more aggressive look so it wouldn't surprise me if they were a bit louder. But Toyo makes great tires, so loud wouldn't bother me either way.

I had a set of Nittos with about 70% tread on my truck when I bought it. After about 2 days of listening to them I swapped them for KO2’s.

You didn't find your K02's loud? Mine were super loud for an all terrain. But now im starting to wonder if I had the original K0's and not the 2's. This was like in 2016, 2017. Not sure when K02 came out, but a buddy has some in 35s and he loves them and they're obviously a good tire, just wasn't aware of them being a choice for being "quiet."

I got 95k and 85k out of KO2’s on my Tahoe. Bought a crew cab truck that had 22” rims on it and couldn’t get KO2’s for it, so I put Nitto Ridge Graplers on it..... have about 30k miles on them and they appear to be wearing faster.... just my observation. I get oil changes and rotate about every 7-8 weeks...... I drive a lot, obviously, but rotating that often really extends the life.

Yeh my Ko's or Ko2's (not entirely sure which one I had now) lasted a long time and I eventually sold the truck with them on, but I liked them. I have had two sets of Ridge grapplers and I've loved those. I was just saying if you are gonna compare the Ko2 to a Nitto tire, they are more like the Ridge Grappler in my opinion.

I'm on my 4th set of Grapplers. I've gotten 60K+ out of each set. My current set has 45K miles and still look good.

BFG is the standard bearer. Going with another option is because you don’t want BFGs, not necessarily that the other tire is better. The Nittos certainly look great. The Ridge Grapplers I rode on this week flat out sucked on anything but pavement.
My Jeep came with Falken Wildpeak MTs which I wasn’t overly excited about but they have been pretty damn impressive so far. Falken ATW3s seem to be gaining popularity as well.

I routinely drive in mud holes and washboard washed out gravel roads with RG's and have yet to get stuck or have any issues, or even had to resort to 4 high. The stone ejectors work well and the lugs are deep enough to cut through mud. The tread pattern and sidewall between the two aren't even comparable. I do remember my BFG's being skippering in rain on pavement, the RG's aren't. Granted the flotation sizes have deeper treads than the metrics on Ridge Grapplers. Only complaint is that the flotation sizes are F rated 12 ply and very heavy (atleast for the 35/12.5r20s). But it all depends on what you're trying to do with the truck.

From what I can tell, people seem to prefer the Nitto Ridge Grapplers over the Terra Graplers.
I have Ridge Grapplers and they've been great.

pulling switch on Yokohama Geolandar's X-AT's. There's shite for options out there especially in size i want. Hoping i like these more than KO2's. I had KO2's before on different truck. They were ok, these x-at's have a bit more aggressive look but not quite a MT which i don't want.

KO2 is the king of A/T. I actually put a set of Kumho Road Venture AT51s on my old Tacoma and absolutely loved them.

For the 19th time.
Duratracs.
Why?
I just got 90k on my last set and they can do this

BFGoodrich KO2
On my third set of BFGoodrich KO2. Average 80K per set.
I do a five tire rotation on a Jeep Wrangler, tire pressure 28-30 psi.
Tried Toyo and Mickey Thompson for a very short time each.
