First thing, poison ivy can't spread after you get it. That is a wives tale. The reason some pops up later is because that spot was less exposed to the oil than the others. The best thing you could have done is vigorously wash your skin within 20-30 minutes after making contact with it. Other than that aside from getting a shot the only thing you can do is remedies for the itching. The oil will run its course sadly.

Soak it in Epsom salt water. Will help dry it up
Works for me. Especially if the blisters are all popped and open so the water can get in.
The stuff about the oil spreading is false. Once the rash shows up, the oil is already chemically bonded to your skin. Water, hot or not, won't make it spread.

There is some stuff made by the Band-Aid brand which is an anti-itch gel, some kind of analgesic stuff.
Worked great for me in getting relief.

I am severely allergic to poison ivy. The best product I have found to remove the oil is the Ivarest foam cleaner. Keep this shite in your shower at all times, anytime you might be exposed scrub the area with it. On several occasions I have done this and completely prevented the rash.
If you already have the rash, rinse with the ivarest and then use anything made by tecnu.

This. Also what happens a lot to promote the "spreading" myth is later you will handle or come into contact with your clothes or some other item from that day which still might have the oil on them. I've also known some people who picked it up from petting their dog after he had gotten into it.

I had it really bad a few years ago and got a shot from Lake After Hours.
The visit only took about an hour (no appt made).
The only challenge was this old Asian lady doctor basically called me a pussy for 10min before she ordered the shot.
