Best ways to get rid of poison ivy without having to get a shot.

I usually go get a shot but I don't have the time to get an appointment. My sons birthday party is Saturday and we have appointments and I need to set up tomorrow.
I have tried scrubs and calamine before but they never helped. Maybe I didn't get the right stuff. What do you use to get rid of poison ivy?
I know nothing I do will get rid of it by tomorrow or anything but maybe something to tame it. Te worst of it is in the inside of my elbow. With this heat, its constantly being aggravated.

Not if you slam a rag covered in rubbing alcohol on it after you start bleeding like a stuck hog
It feels soooo glorious

Knock wood, have never had it and I've been all over the woods many, many times in my life. Hope I'm immune.

ZANFEL has worked with great results including that one time I got it on my penis. shite sucks. You can get it at Walgreens/CVS.

I've had so much exposure to it that I've gotten bad reactions by wind.

Peroxide, lab grade. It will clear it in a day or so.

You aren't. I've never had it until last year. I would always play in the shite and never got an outbreak. One day I thought I was immune and was doing yard work in nothing but shorts like I always do. Wasn't cutting limbs and weed eating. I had forgotten what poison ivy even looked like and must have weed eaten some ivy and it got in my blood.
Once it's in your blood, you have it and the more you're exposed to it after that the more susceptible you are to it.

This is how I "itch" things I know I shouldn't scratch. Nothing beats an itch like scalding hot water. Feels as good as head...

Like I said, I'm new to poison ivy. Had it last year for the first time and got a shot.

It's an oil. The heat makes it run.
But the rubbing alcohol will help dry it up.
I find the topical shite the sell for it helps too
