Is Red Wing the only place to get Red Wing? And other "best work boot" suggestions? looking to keep it under 3 bills.

My last two pairs of Red Wings have dry rotted. Last one was within 3 weeks. I have a 8yr old pair that never did. Will not buy again because they are using shitty leather now. I use the best boot stuff, and it still couldn't prevent the dry rot
Bought some Justin's and haven't broken them yet. Did take a nice slice out of the leather doing something, but some lube fixed that right up. The insole is awesome. Get an American-made pair also. Higher quality

Does Justin make steel round toe? And who has the best price on them?
Doesn't matter much, but I am not going for a western look, which is what comes to mind when I think of Justin.
Did Red Wing replace the boots or refund your money?
thanks

Yes, my new pair is the 4441. They run 1.5 sizes bigger than Red Wings FWIW
Got mine from this place by pet smart on Seigen

I thought I wanted water proof. I stand in water for probably an hour out of every week. Just use Obenauf's and you won't get wet. Waterproof boot liners separate and they are hot
I'll add, no matter what boots you buy, a good protectant will keep water from getting in. I can stand in a pool for an hour and not get wet

I had those lacrosse work boots, they did not hold up at all.

I have some Tony Lama Steel Toes that I got from the outlet across Hwy 30 from Tanger that are really comfortable. Had them over a year and they're still in great shape.

Georgia Boot makes a damn good work boot. Best place I've found them is the boot shop right across the road from Tanger.
Also, I have to have steel toe, but work in the office mainly now. I bought some Converse work boots, They're basically exactly like wearing tennis shoes. Not sure how they'd hold up wearing them while actually working construction though.

Murican made boots are the best quality FWIW.

Academy sells a couple styles of Red Wings; other than that the Red Wing stores are your best bet.
If you aren't deadset on that brand though and want a really comfortable steel toe boot, you owe it to yourself to look at the KEEN industrial shoe line. They have a lot of different styles and are by far the most comfortable steel toes that I have worn. (compared to Red Wing king toe, Wolverine, and Dr. Martin's that I have owned)
Hell, I am no longer required to wear ST's, but still wear my summer ST's for yard work and such.

No matter what boot you get buy the moldable insoles from the Red Wing store.
You heat them in the oven and they form to fit your foot. best shite ever made. they have a three year warranty too.
Might can get them online cheaper.
Sole' makes them for Red Wing and other high-end shoe stores

Love mine, about 5 years old and still going strong. Pops has a pair that has to be 15+ years old.
Also have a pair of Dan Post round toe, no steel, also bad arse, bought them in 2004, just had them re-soled this year.
Wear Ariats pretty much every day, only about 6 months old, but they are holding up well too.
I would recommend any of these brands.

Justin makes round steel toes but they're hard to find. I had to order my last pair. Was $185 at boots etc on 30

Great boot. I have the waterproof ones, my only complaint is they are hotter than satan's nutsack.

I got mine at the boot place by Lowe's/Super Wal-mart/Sam's. It is in the back corner by the Petco
