You can catch some snapper in the parish but we have the gulf access so I'll count it. It's different that driving to other parishes IMO

no shite, IMO south LA is better than north LA bc you can go anywhere in the country and shoot big bucks. not too many places you can go and catch such a variety of fish in one day plus shoot basically everything you can in north la minus turkey

I think for the balance of fishing (fresh and salt), crabbing, hunting, etc., St. Tammany would be a pretty strong contender. Probably not great in most of the categories, but pretty good in most.

Claiborne is good. Tensas or Concordia are the best.

With that logic, we could say you can go to Florida for better saltwater fishing, so the northern parishes are obviously better than the coastal.

My apologies, apparently LA has the best saltwater fishing in the world.

Is there any unbiased person that can confirm this?

Venice is considered one of the top saltwater fishing destinations in the world.

That is a fact of common knowledge, salmon

The only thing florida may have us beat at is Tarpon, and I'm ok with that

the reason the limits and regulations are asinine in the Gulf is because of florida, they have maybe 5% of the numbers of saltwater fish we have

I have some bias for sure, but I have also fished in numerous places.

Inshore charters:

Georgia
South Carolina
Yucatan
Florida Keys
West Coast of Florida

The only place close to Louisiana was the Yucatan.

Offshore Charters:

Alabama
Destin
Georgia

Not even comparable to the variety and numbers found in Louisiana.
