Looking for some ideas and recommendations for mosquito deterrent around my back porch. I’m familiar with the tiki torch/citronella combination, but I was curious if there was any other or better options I’m not familiar with. Thanks for the help!

I know quite a few people that love the spartan mosquito eradicator. I’m yet to even give it a shot, but I will.

I spray Talstar in about a 50 foot radius around my house and on the brick and have been doing it 4 to 6 times a year and it has made a huge difference.

talstar (bifenthrin) is best long term solution ive used.

We've tried Talstar, UV lights inside an electric grid, all sorts of candles, and fans.
Our best solution has been a 3 speed squirrel cage fan (very quiet) mounted on wheels that we can move around to aim and store when not in use. The breeze is nice also.

Do any of the zapper type things or traps actually work?

Just drink bourbon until they stop biting you.

we sprayed cheap of brand Listerine on the patios and it worked pretty good. We have a cool fan and we put a qt of bleach in the water tank and that works pretty good as long as ya sitting in the breeze. I hate using chemicals cause they also kill the mosquito hawks lizards and other helpful critters

victoria secret bombshell perfume... i'm only kinda kidding read an article saying it works... something in the perfume. seems like the neem oil or lemon eucalyptis would work the same way with the bleach and water cooling fan and might keep you from getting less dizzy
