I built a house and I am doing the landscaping myself. We have plenty of restrictions. Need roughly 50 7 gallon plants 3 trees etc. I got a quote from one place that is near by but they are out of their mind.

Any good Wholsale Nursery’s in Louisiana that may have really good deals on plants? I’m in river parish area but wouldn’t mind going pick up.

Forest Hill unless you know a landscape architect. LA can get deals at some local nurseries saving you money and time. There is a wholesale nursery in baton rouge, but must buy either thru landscape company or LA.

I-49 north, Lecompte exit, La 112. go west.

ALL of the "nurseries" down here buy from that strip....

Folsom has a few nurseries that have the plants you need. You may find a landscape contractor willing to secure some plants for you or you may be able to find a plant broker willing to purchase plants for you without a horticulture license

One other option is the arbor day foundation. They are pretty reasonable for trees and bushes.

Bracy's in Amite, you will need someone with a license to buy from them. They have top quality plants and service.

Here is their current plant list. LINK

Prices are roughly 50%-66% of what you would pay at a retail nursery.

I'd got to Forest Hill, too. However, I would recommend checking a few plants before closing the deal by examining the roots. I bought some there and several plants were root bound like a mofo and died.

This.

And most of the crazy good deals are for smaller plants, so I am not sure it is the best place to go if you want to have a mature landscape really quickly.

I get all mine from Doug Youngs.

Although I don't live in La anymore...I recommend Forest Hill as well. Oh...watch out for the cops. If that's still the speed trap I remember it being.

I bought some large oaks this spring that were 15-20 feet tall. The nursery had names of installers that hauled and installed in Lafayette. Followed up with Little Gem Magnolias 10 feet tall a few weeks later. Total installed pricing was 1/3 of what local nursery quoted.
