Funny this thread was started, im going to cabelas in just a bit to look at glasses. How are the Maui Jim's, any good?

as stated 580glass in green is optimal for inshore, down from that 580p green

Mauis are way better than costas. Plus you won't look like every other douche in town.

I have a pair of Stinger with the turquoise frame and blue 580 lens. Still in box and tag on the lens. Bought for $239. I will sell for them for $200 if your interested.

Costas are garbage now IMO, but I do think the 580G lenses are the best on the market.

I would suggest you look at other makes. Just had a pair of Costa Fisch's with 580 glass lenses had a lense shatter when I put them on. Costa wants to charge $110 to repair (screw them). Told them what they can do with their repair, and will be going Maui Jim's in the future... BTW,Amber lenses work great in the marsh!

Definitely get 580s. I prefer the glass ones because they're more durable. Get green or amber(they're the same, the green ones just have green mirror on them), they definitely let you see in stained water better.
