ETA: I also have a Viper climber and the harness that came with the stand is a pain in the arse. Got the HSS one that's designed like a vest and its so much easier to put on and more comfortable

Man forget about those 4 point harnesses and go with a rock climbing harness. Best move i ever made for comfort and don't have to worry about self rescue issues with the other style.

Yup I switched to a rock climbing harness 3 years ago. I have even taken a fall in mine. Probably saved my life. I was able to recover and continue the hunt about a mile deep on public land all by my lonesome.

I have been also looking for a new one. For everyone using a rock climbing harness, what are some brands/models to look at and read about?

I have the vario speed harness. I think easiest adjustment regardless of early season or late depending on how much clothing I have on

Black Diamond rock climbing harness. I will never go back to a traditional harness. The rock climbing harness is so light weight comfortable that you almost forget it is even on.
