I do and the property next to mine recently sold. 20 or so acres. You gonna be my new neighbor? What’s your email address? I’ll contact you and see if I can assist. I’m about to start building a guest house 2bd/2ba and have already started going through some of the red tape.

My nephew's wife is down in Slidell closing on a house they're moving into when he gets back from his current deployment. He is going to be stationed at the NAVSCIATTS base at Stennis. Not sure what he'll be doing. He was recently accepted to become a Warrant Officer. We're excited to have them in Louisiana after being in Virginia Beach for over a decade.
I hope he meets some guys down there that will take him hunting and fishing. He grew up in Anchorage, and fished a lot. My dad and I both gave him some rifles and shotguns after we quit hunting. He's also already in one of the MC's that's current and former military guys. Hopefully there's chapters down there too.

You may need an LDWF Scenic Rivers permit if building a new dock, bulkhead or house (within 100’ of the bayou).
