I have a 2011 polaris sportsman 800. It started with a bad battery off of jumper cables yesterday. I got a new battery and installed it and now there is no power at all. I have no idea what to do now.

Should have a main fuse under the seat.

It's probably a blown fuse. Not sure where they are located on a Polaris, but mine are located near the battery.

If it’s one of those smaller motorcycle batteries, they usually aren’t pre-charged. I had to put the acid in and charge mine before installing on my Honda.

Wasn't going to mention that yet.
I haven't replaced a 4 wheeler battery in a while, didn't know if they still do it that way.

Has to be a fuse, or a bad ground. If you have a multimeter you can check the battery. I'm assuming when you turn the key on none of the lights or anything work?

If you crossed polls at any point you popped a fuse.

Before you go pulling wires make sure your cables are making good contact. This sounds dumb but....well....I speak from experience

It's going to be the fuse then, you should be able to see a small plastic box at the suggested area, pull the fuse and look at it. It's going to be blown.

But also, what about the kill switch? Mine won't do a damn thing in the off position,no lights, no nothing. Check that first.

Here's a link that should help, it should be the 20 amp main fuse ....

LINK

And if you don't have an extra 20 amp spare fuse you can swap the 20 amp main fuse and the 20 amp accessories fuse and it should turn on, assuming you didn't blow both fuses.

Yes accidentally touched both polls with a tool and got some sparks.

Yes, nothing is coming on including lights.

might also want to disconnect the ground for a couple of minutes, then reconnect (without spparking anything) and try again.

Check the battery voltage if you can, I've bought an AGM battery for my 700 and it read a whopping 3.7V when I got home.
