I am not sure how I feel about this.

Would you want your state to do away with daylight savings time? It seems like it would be a hassle for the border towns.

I wish we’d just split the middle, move the clocks 30 mins, and leave them there.

That's dumb, they're not on a time-zone border

So you're driving I-40 from Tennessee to Oklahoma you have to change your clocks at the border 1/2 of the year

I want to do the opposite - STAY on daylight savings time year round. Either that, or shift everyone's work schedule to be an hour earlier. I like having daylight left when I get home from work.

This. I'd much rather have daylight when I get home during the week so I can do yardwork on weekdays after work and have my weekends free. And so I can sleep for an extra hour and still get to my hunting or fishing spot before first light.

Just leave it and quit moving it every 8 months.

This is for this year

Why is the legislature wasting breathe on this? Does it make money or lose money for their state? Seems like they should have more important matters. It’s a wash for me there’s positive and negative about both ways.

as a resident, it pisses me off that we are using taxpayer funds to let politicians argue over this.

Everyone should. There should be 1 for each zone.

We don't ride horses. We don't use punch cards in our computers. We shouldn't have DST.

Period. Full stop.

Keep it. My favorite thing about spring and summer are the long days. My boss is in California so adjusting my work time to where I get off 3 hours before him isn't an option.

I'm ok with it. Just pick one and I'll stay with it. I just don't like switching back and forth.

Yes it was originally for the farmers but with the advance in technology, farming has became much more efficient and I would think it’s not as big of a deal anymore.

I thought it was originally because of some European military commander
