Anyone selling live crabs

Looking to boil some crabs this weekend. Y’all know anyone that’s selling them near Baton Rouge?

I'd think they are not easy to get in the N.O. area now with the spillway open and dumping all that water into Lake Pontchartrain.
Talked to a guy just 3 days ago and he said he ran 600 crab traps and only caught 300 lbs. of crabs. That's a lot of work for that little bit of crabs at 1/2 lb. per trap average.

We got them last weekend from the Westwego seafood lot. The lines were long for crabs, but they were great. We picked up 2 dozen #1s and all were full but 1

Picked some up at courvilles in port allen last week. Some lively #2s for $24 a dozen.

May be a little late now but I have a guy that makes runs from sulpher to the Feliciana’s. Usually has a bunch of #2s but takes orders ahead of time
I did hear this week that they are running good in the Shell Beach area. I’d think with restaurants closed prices would be way down but that’s not the case

Nevermind. Apparently selling crabs the way he was became a pain in the arse. Between people putting in orders then being a no show and other showing up only wanting females he caught the red arse and is only doing crawfish right now.
