anything in lower terribone or lafourche got leveled like it was hit with a bomb. the road is closed at golden meadow flood gates and wont reopen for at least a week, possibly two as 80% of all power lines are down. the buildings fared better but there is still lots of serious damage everywhere and power may not be restored for 2-3 weeks in most areas.

its not good

Hopefully when I get back from Portland or, on the 14th stuff will start reopening/power gets turned back on. Everyone wants some normalcy, and the sooner those businesses can reopen the sooner they can put some money in their pockets to help their repairs.

Cocodrie got hammered. Lots of roof damage and power lines down everywhere. Our camp was hit hard needs a new roof and siding. Marsh grass and debris all over the roads

DUlarge was on western eye wall and the camps over the levee past jugs landing had less water than the 2 storms that hit LC. Flood gauge never reached 2 feet

Yeah, I was afraid our houseboat was going to be stuck on the bottom. Crazy how fast that storm sucked the water out of that area. Water is back to normal as of yesterday afternoon.

My brother said his camp at Dularge Marina is fine. As are most of the camps and the marina. Must’ve got lucky considering reports on coco.

Fourchon got hammered. The campground at Moran’s where we keep our trailers has trailers flipped, my buddy’s got an entire lengthwise wall peeled off, others are in little pieces, the aluminum covers are everywhere, and a nice thick layer of silt/mud over the entire area. Going to smell great in about a week, thankful for the cooler weather. My boat and camper were in BR from the Delta pullout, so I got lucky, there is an entire intact roof over where my trailers would have been.
