Anyone Here Bass Fish The Pascagoula River In MS

Seems to be a shallow water fisheries and am looking for my boys to expand on locations to fish. Anyone on here have knowledge on how it fishes?
Is it trees, grass docks or all of the above? Thanks guys!

Go a bit east to the Mobile causeway, I've caught some bass there.
Can't help you much with Pascagoula but there are some parks with fishing piers that look passable. Grab yourself a couple bozo sandwiches and try it one day.

Also bozo's market has great poboys, grab a couple for lunch. I love to get a good sub or poboy, drop my lines in, eat on the pier. I try to stay away from the seafood stuff if I'm carrying out...

It’s been 10 years since I last went to bozo’s. Passed through on 10 last week and told my wife about that place wondering if it was still there. Great spot

Couple things:
Straight from ChatGPT- The Pascagoula River in southeastern Mississippi is known as the largest undammed major river system in the contiguous United States. It flows about 80 miles from the confluence of the Leaf and Chickasawhay Rivers to the Gulf of Mexico, and it remains free-flowing with no major dams. This makes it ecologically significant, supporting rich forests, swamps, and diverse wildlife.
Therefore you can bass fish it from the marsh grass in the South then transition into hardwoods and eventually various creeks etc for many miles.
Bozos’s- hit and miss. Just yesterday announced that the deli was closed. Think I read they can’t get enough employees. Over the years Bozos’s has expanded to steamed seafood in the market and Bozos’s 2 restaurant on site and now Bozos 2.5 which I haven’t been to yet, I think it’s maybe a bar/outdoor setup.

I think the old Pascagoula Naval Station is now a park. There was some pretty good fishing in that area.

As in the basic side on the east with cement floors and counter service? That was the best part. I went to the waiters-and-table size on the west of the property and that was a letdown.

one of my best friends growing up lived in Gautier, MS. and swam for the Ocean Springs YMCA. Spent many Summers skiing the Pascagoula River, swinging off tree ropes into the river, hanging out at Hickory Hill C.C. & Shepard park, fishing the marsh grass off Graveline, and hanging out at the Point on FRI/SAT nights. His dad worked at Ingalls Shipyard as we fished that area during the night. One Summer I entered the Big Speck contest at Mary Walker Marina. I ended up winning $100.00 for the largest trout. Every time I drive I-10 E/W through that area, it reminds me of my youth. Definitely miss that area as I need to get back and see a concert at the new amphitheater.

Yea the East side. However, the next day they released a "limited menu". Staffing issues I believe.
