Interesting concept. Never talked with anyone who used it. Figured somebody here tried it.

Thanks in advance.

Used it and sold it. I think if there is any benefit, you would see a greater benefit from it used in a ground blind type setup.

My FIL used one last year. I can tell you that I was out hunting and I killed two deer on the same weekend without one while he was sleeping in.

Built my own. Hunterboxes has the parts. They're at least good for deodorizing clothes and etc in a tub.

Hunt the wind.

I know folks who use them but only as a small part of their overall scent elimination strategy. They help, and the science is legit, but their claims likely overreach. They arent as fake as carbon based, heat activated scent control clothing, but ozonics also isnt a silver bullet.

It's not snake oil. It's just a tool you can use. I think alot of the machines out there are pretty small to be doing any good in the open air. It definitely will remove smells in a large room or something enclosed.

Not a fan. Killed a nice 8 first time using it, got excited about it, then had deer busting me every time I used it. Now just use it to sterilize my clothes, and now there are cheap options for that( like 20 bucks on amazon)...

I know people who use and swear by them but these same people are still hunting the wind. If you feel like carrying more stuff out in to the woods I don't think it hurts but I'd rather pay attention to wind direction, thermals, etc. I use an ozone bag that was gifted to me for my clothing and it does seem to remove odor.

always hunt the wind- what if it is 93 F and no wind? Like it will be here on opening day of bow season?

Ozonics wont make you invisible but it just might give you that extra second to get off a shot.

I’ve been using one for 2 years. Like others have said its just another tool. Bow hunting is tough sometimes. I’ve seen it help but its not perfect. You still have to hunt the wind but it’s valuable if you’re hunting a cross wind or something risky. Also where I hunt the wind will swirl with the hills. It won’t help in high winds but no wind or a light wind it will help some. I’ve had them come out down wind and while I think they caught a scent of something they didn’t blow or leave. Sometimes all you need is that extra 30 seconds. I don’t swear by it but its in my bag every hunt. I also bought mine used on archery talk rather than new. If scent is the number 1 thing to control why not use every tool you have at your disposal.

I know they pay a lot of the TV guys a lot of money.

I think the only way they could work is in a box or gound blind and the machine inside with you. But, I am fearful of breathing that stuff in.

Considering how well a deer can smell (very very well, better than dogs even), in a lockon or treestand there is no way all your scent is mixing with the ozonics and killing the odor.
