Never done this before. I know the guns have to be shipped to an FFL. Any good experiences? Bad?

Bought my son's Savage Axis last year and it went smooth. $20 FFL at BJ Pawn and was on my way.

I've bought several guns and quite a bit of ammo off GB. Never had a problem, I would contact your FFL first to give them a heads up and then go ahead with your order.

If you don't know a FFL dealer, Gunbroker lists several in your area that they work with. Makes the process run a lot smoother if the FFL has dealth with GB before.

Find a cheap reliable FFL and bid away. I had success many times. Only once I found that one of my purchases went to the wrong address but the seller had it rerouted to me after about a week or so. That did bug me some but it was a good result.

I’ve won some pistol auctions. Never had a problem with any of my transactions. Slinger gave great advice with his post. Good luck.

I’ve bought from Gunbroker dozens of times with no issue.

Read the description fully and if you have a question ask, if they don’t respond then move on.

Thank you! Do FFLs usually charge a fee for using them as a middleman?

Yes.

They charge a transfer fee. You need to find one in your area to have it shipped to.
