Anyone else hurting?

Only fished Sunday afternoon after my weekend yard work. Water clarity is improving but wind was difficult out of the ene @12-14. This morning I feel like I have been a half round with Tyson after all the yard work wife planned. Fishing isn’t nearly as strenuous as mulch and fencing.

I haven't been fishing nearly as much as I'd like to just because of the wind/clouds. Had a couple good days last week though.

the wind man, the wind is hell.
I was on a windy point with the wife and two kids Saturday. A dude in a pontoon boat, one of those short underpowered ones, comes by at about 1/2 throttle. Holy shite, I thought I was going to be sunk. Trolling motor out of the water, bow in it.
I was not going to be an arse in front of my children, but damn I wanted to go have words with him.
He ran all over Indian Creek that day, half throttle in no wake zones all day.

Ha! Had a guy and his kid out in a solo skiff yesterday afternoon. They were up against a bulkhead and only visible because dad had a white rod. They would’ve been in a tight spot had I come in from the north side. Skiff/Yak guys, put some hi viz tape on your boats so we can see you on the water.

You fish Indian Creek alot? We have a big group camping trip there every year and we nicknamed it the Dead Sea. But, more than likely, we just don't know what works there.

So they're in a no-wake zone and you were going so fast you couldn't see them?
Posted on 3/31/20 at 11:55 am to dandyjohn
Nope, they were positioned on the south side of a turning basin I fish when the wind kicks up. Actually, if they would’ve moved East 50 yards their success might have increased. Are all bulkheads in no wake zones?

You usually only see bulkheads around camps and close to the shore, so yes, usually that is a no wake zone.
Can't say always, certainly someone could put a bulkhead way out in the marsh, but that's not common and I've never seen that.
