The few trips that I been in the woods, I saw a few The woods here are still dry. If we get some rain soon, they will stack up here.

FYI, they are nocturnal and flying to fields to feed for the night. If you are shooting at woodcock at dusk, then you are shooting after legal shooting time...

and yes just like waterfowl... shooting time ends at LEGAL sunset... Not 30 min after(dark) like mammals...
