Make sure they have something to stand on to get off the ground. Just a few concrete blocks will do. Other than that I think they are hardy animals. Get a billy and a few nannies and let nature happen

Wick, just wanted to say thanks for coming by the home last night, checking me and Trigger out and treating me to a fine meal at a fancy eatin' place... It's nice to see nice young men mixed in here with a bunch of little Prius drivin' ki launchin', apple flavored skoal dippin' little shitheads...

Nice meeting you also... Also how did the waitress not know that I ordered when she specifically asked me if I wanted the wine pairing with the meal. Food was good regardless...

The real money is in sheep. Fence off the pasture and move them around or they will eat the grass down to the root. Move em around and you will be OK.

I just got back from an auction and they ranged from 65 to 125$ I think return on investment would tip the scale towards cows. I don't really have any figures on goats but I do have hard figures on cows when it comes to input costs.

I've never known a man to get rich raising goats; however, I have known several rich men who raise them.

Actually, the work will in conjunction WITH cattle. Goats will eat what cows don't. Goats won't eat grass unless they have to. They will eat all the broadleafs cattle pass on to eat grass.

They certainly are. You really never get rid of worms; merely, control them. They pretty much stay with worms. Resistance to de-wormers is a prob.

I found Copasure was the shyt though. I'd get the bolus and re package in gel caps I'd buy and pop them each three per year.

That is why I've thought about getting one or two. The horses don't clean up nearly as good as cows do.

We only had goats for a few years but I never could get over the fact they love the shittiest stick of crap in the pasture.

Before having them I heard that and figured it was an exaggerated for a sales tactic.

There are actually herds leased out to clear up along powerlines, etc.

I get those pain in the arse yellow flowers everywhere. Plus it would give my border collie something else to herd. The horses don't pay her any mind now
