That's a poling platform????

How the hell do you pole that thing and not flip it?

The boat is surprisingly stable. Haven't had a problem up there yet. And I've been up there for boat wakes, running into the marsh, fishing partner jumping around, etc.

It's still almost 5' wide. It's not a canoe despite the looks of it

Also, I've said it before but I'll say it again: if anyone wants to check out the boat and run it and go fishing I'm always down.

The Gheenoe shop was pretty damaged during Irma so the production of all Gheenoes is on hold until further notice.

They had this one at the sportsman show a handful of years back. I love looking at it.

do people not put trolling motors on them? or are they normally used in water too shallow for that?

I know the dude that rebuilt that one. It was done well.

I have a trolling motor for mine but I ended up taking it off and just using the push pole. I didn't have an iPilot and using a hand steer trolling motor is too difficult while trying to fly fish so I took it off.

Look at the front of the one you linked. That metal bracket is the trolling motor bracket for a clamp on trolling motor. They have some other options for a trolling motor but seems most guys go with that bracket.
