Neighbor had 2 blinds, one of which was nestled into the S part of farm. My Co was taking it over and drew must have caught wind of it because the check took 7 weeks to make it to jonesville area. When i called about it not clearing I was told they received it 2 days too late. I hope they choke on a spoonie

Had something similar happen in a different place. I was told I shouldve sent it certified.

Pretty sure I know who your buddy is then.....
He does have several other places though.

Go to Olla, take the road towards Duty Ferry, look for the tall fence on the leff.

Are you talking about the Rosefield Rd from Olla? I don't remember there being high fence on that road.

My BIL worked for them for years at WGI and I met them a few times. They seemed like nice enough people. He hunted up there with them several times and he's in a few of the hunting shows from a few years back.
I also know that Big Bill loves running dogs. Idk if they run in their 55,000 acre pen or somewhere else, but a pretty reliable source told me he spends the second 1/2 of the season running blue-ticks.

The high fence starts right past the "Community Shooting Range" aka Castor Creek.

I love how some people on here act like we wouldn't do exactly the same thing if we had the money.... of course we would...... but it's ok to deny it......

Is that parish road label on their driveway accurate? If so, I'm curious if the parish pays for the maintenance on it, and how they get away with having a gate across a public road.
All those logging roads in that area get labeled that way, but they are not public roads nor are they maintained by the parish. The parish can't afford to maintain the public roads, much less any private ones.

I was gonna correct him, but he seems emotionally invested in the story. The road thru our club is listed as a parish road and it is maintained by the timber company that owns the land.

I know some of the guys who work there.
It is 55k acres; It is not all fenced. In fact the majority isn't. The entire length of the highway is fenced, however.
Would you spend millions on plots, maintenance, feed and stands to have a 10 miles stretch of highway open for poachers to walk right in and spot light your deer? Righttt
I'd do the same shite if I had more $ than I knew what to do with.
