I'm looking for a good place to process a deer for me that doesn't cost an arm and leg . I live in the Baton Rouge area .

The bacon burger at Days in Watson is good. Debone it and save a few bucks

Define

I know Skuter just used T-Wayne's and it wasn't cheap

Tramonte's has a rep for being pricey as well

I didn't find him to be too bad, was very happy with the finished product. I've paid less and more at some other places and not been happy at all.

Hope you're not in a hurry. Days is 10-12 days out.

Bergerons is high, but they do the best job IMO. Their 60/40 ground/bacon is the 1st venison my wife would sub ground beef for.....

Their andouille, breakfast, & pepper jack smoked sausages are good, too

I had a doe processed at Bergeron's this year. All ground meat, deboned, vacuum sealed, and back strap tenderized. Was right at $150. Like any processor, depends on what you want done. Sausage with different stuffings get expensive.

Bergeron's is my favorite. I prefer the fresh jalapeño sausage. Pricy but worth it.

Just picked mine up from days. 9 days from drop off to pick up. Got 50 lbs of straight ground deer, 56 lbs of country style smoked sausage. Never imagined I'd get that much off that 10 point I killed.

I want to bring some meat to days from the next deer i kill.I hear the burritos are really good. I make my own sausage so don't need that.
