The mini SE is good, so is the mini 2 as mentioned. I wouldn’t worry too much as $500 can get you a decent drone.
Most all wildlife regs are against drone use for hunting.
Those fpv racing drones are something else insane.

Just tested my Mavic Mini out tonight. I’ve never operated a drone before and it was so easy to get going. Great picture and video quality. I found this video the most useful before I took it out.

We don’t really trail ride anymore, but I do have some nice trails throuh my 18 acres. Our first year here we focused on setting up the woods for riding, but then switched gears and cleared the area where the track is. Started with one little track loop and then expanded 4 new sections.

I have a dji air mavic 2. Can’t remember how much it was, but probably over $500. It’s really easy to use and a lot of fun. Admittedly, I don’t use it much anymore. Was a blast when it was new.
