Marked one the last few guns on my list off yesterday with this Sweet 16. ‘88 model, family owned since the mid 90’s in immaculate condition. Thought I would share with all of you fellow gun enthusiasts.

I love a Sweet 16. Tha was my grandpa's gun of choice for hunting quail with his pointer.

My dad has it now. It was made in the late 60s.

That is awesome. There is nothing better than a gun with generational history. Sadly we were burglarized about 20 years ago and everything from my Dad’s side of the family were stolen.

This one isn’t a Sweet Sixteen but a standard model 16 from the 50’s that belonged to my Grandfather on mom’s side. He and my uncle both hunted with it for years then I started using it around nine years old. Grandaddy called me when I was in my early 20’s(around 2002) and told me to go ahead and take it home, that he figured his hunting days were coming to an end. He made until 2017 but sadly he was right about being able to hunt. I still use it and think about him every time I pick it up.

I have a Light 12 my stepdad gave me about 15 years ago that I absolutely love. My uncle has an A5 12 gauge magnum he won as a door prize at a company Christmas party in the 80’s with a 32” full choke barrel. Was his dog hunting gun ever since and he’s killed many deer with it.

The most beautiful firearm ever created.

I have a Sweet Sixteen that is still in the box and has never been fired. Does anyone know what it is worth?

Probably not worth much because you don’t know if it will fire correctly or not

I would be willing to give you $200 sight unseen though to help you out.

Mine is a 1956 622xx SN S series. It’s buffed/polished and waxed.

My grandpa had Sweet 16 from the 50s or 60s that he unfortunately decided to put a polychoke on.

Still a nice gun.

if you provide the SN I can look in my book... Or if you know the manufacture date, that's what I was gonna use the serial number for.
