Yeah, we're still sleeping in the same building, freezing our asses off every night (at least the nights we remember).

We are related. My grandfather was Adonice. Went to school with your youngest uncle. I figured out who you were awhile back with your avi.

Downshift,

Very cool thread and cool pics. I bet they didn't ride their 4-wheelers up to the stands either or at least within a few hundred yards. Most of us have it so easy these days.

Thanks for sharing,

That's my pawpaw. He lost his finger in the Navy. He can still catch the hell out of fish, but he gave up hunting in the late 70's I believe. I still have the shotgun he used to hunt with.

And to NorthLABoy, fourwheelers are worthless at this place. The only way to get to your stand is hip boots and a good set of lungs.

Nodust, you talkin bout sub-moa?

I bet ya'll didn't have botanical correct deer food plots back then either. Where was this club at? I remember the bull horns, don't know why cause we were bird hunters mostly. I love the pic out on the deck, chilling, and the guy in the green/blue hat taking down a heinie. Must of been a city slicker.

It's in St. James parish. The same building is still there and we still do the same shite in it

ETA: And about the only thing we could grow would be rice. It's all nuts deep swamp.

I didn't notice that.

I couldn't imagine how many Miller Lite/Bud Lite bottle caps and tabs there are in that camp yard. Never seen anyone drink a Henieken out there.
