Dats skinny water fishing. Hell when it's that low, it's crappy anyway. Would be a good way to cut some trenasses too.

I was the one in the kayak that y'all ran up and down the bayou at least 100 times going back and forth to the trucks. And I kept 3 reds and caught about 10 undersized. Not sure if you are a duck hunter but in Montegt they will "shoot across the bow" if you mess up their hunt.

You were in the green yak?

That's why we wait until after hunting season to do things like this

Nope. I was in the tan KC. I'm not mad I'm just pointing out that maybe sportsman be as courteous as possible to other sportsman. Since the other guy and I didn't have a motor our possibilities(our problem not yours) were limited but there was another route available besides the cut we were fishing. I don't know the other guy, just talked to him on the water.

Not trying to cut you down or anything, but I wonder how much that mudfest on water affects water quality. Seems like it loosens up the substrate and as soon as the water came back in, it would just wash all of it away(suspended in H20). Kind of like running equipment in a SMZ

I only saw the green yak/canoe but by the time i saw it it was too late to slow down.

In regards to messing up the mud. I doubt it. We are not messing up any live and growing marsh. Trust me, 90% of the ppl there are avid duck hunters and members of DW or DU. When the tides high outboards go through shallows and I'm sure it's not much differ rent.

Well technically y'all were trespassing. Apache Louisiana Minerals, LLC owns that land, as long as it a navigation water way there is no trespassing but once it becomes land you are trespassing.

Nope. Just no trespassing signs everywhere. There use to be a gas plant on that flat when I was a kid( long time ago).....I'm in my 40's now.

So both of y'all trespassing or you sat on the outside looking in? It's a little more lax after duck season.

As long as they don't cut into bank they don't do a lot of damage, especially when the water is that low. No wave energy hitting bank for starters. Silt is so loose, it falls back on itself. The water is going to follow the ditch it's cut, it would be hard for them to change that.

Just like taking your 4 wheeler out in mud, we take our boats. Basically see what kind of stuff you can get in and out of. Some of it takes some work to get out.
