Yes, exactly, it was like $120 for 1000rds of tula a year ago.
Ive still got a bunch but man I shoukd have bought more a few months ago.

Thanks for the link. I have a lot, but want to go shoot a bunch up at the range. If I keep doing that, I'll want more. Paying 32 cents per round for stuff that's not even brass, seems ridicuous, but at least it's there.
After going through every link on Gunbot and SGAmmo,I bookmarked 12 different links to available 9mm range ammo in the last two weeks. None of them have any now.

Get accounts at a bunch of sites, full accounts with shipping address, and sign up for emails. There are some sites that don't get listed, and there are sites that list some ahead of time and tell you when you can order.
Global Ordnance, a site I hadn't heard of, has run deals for the past couple holidays.
Father's Day- Tula steel-cased 9mm, $154 a case, limit 1.
July 4th- Tula steel-cased 223, $250 a case, limit 1.
That recurred a few weeks later, and I got another case of 223 for that price, and a case of 7.62 x 39 for $210.
It's not great stuff, but it shoots and gets you at the range.
Military Shooters recently ran a deal, Silver Bear 223 was $139 per 500, Brown Bear $134 for 500. Limit 2. Sent the email, said it would go on sale "at 7pm CST Friday July 23rd". I went there at 6:59, nothing. Refreshed a few times, they had 48 boxes of Silver Bear...

Get some accounts, let them "spam" you for now, and set your phone email to alert you. Don't be too afraid of places you haven't been to before, trust the credit cards to deal with it if you get conned (and I haven't been, yet). I think with ammo, it's not worth the risk of a con job- I think that ends up being a federal offense, unlike a "too good to be true" deal on clothes or tools somewhere.
And if you're going to shoot now, get the cheap stuff, wait for the good stuff to drop. Just clean your guns better.
