Honda foreman 2008. Very recently changed oil and oil filter, new battery, everything always been great. Very quickly all of a sudden running like crap. It’s like it doesn’t get out of that warm up mode. Wants to kill when I gas it, just doesn’t get going.

Plan on changing spark plugs but does it sound like something else?

Carb. Buy a new one, you can find cheap knock offs on eBay that work fine.

Take carb apart and clean it. Make sure the holes in part #s 27 & 49 are clear.

A spark plugs change is where I would start. And get a Honda spark plug.

I've tried other and they seem to run not as awesome. Drop in a Honda or and boom goes the dynamite.

My buddies rancher started running like shite all of a sudden and it was his spark plug. I run seafoam through my equipment pretty regular. Helps the the carbs in line.

Did you pull a wire loose? If it was running perfectly fine right before you changed the oil and battery, I'd look around for that first

My 2008 did the same thing. Pull the carb off, take it apart, pull every jet (all have a straight screwdriver slot)
and clean every hole you can find in them with a small wire
and a good spray carb cleaner. Spray every hole you can find in the carb body also.
If you get it unstopped it will run like it's new....

I use a welders cutting torch tip cleaner for the small wire. They are extremely tough wires and have a spiral on the end to help clean and unclog. You can find them at Home Depot nex to their welding stuff..

It will be much easier to just replace the carb. You can literally purchase a new one for under $40 on EBay. It will save you a ton of time, it’s plug and play.

Other than some oil on it, that plug looks good

I just recently had the same issue with my 2006 Rancher. Changed the spark plug and runs like new again.

I would've hit it with a wire wheel on the bench grinder, and thrown it back in

A $4 spark plug that lasted me 10 years? get out of here. That was too much of a waste of time and pain in the arse getting to the spot and removing not to just replace.
