I have the Predator in 7prc and love it. Trigger is adjustable. Great cheek position on the stock and very accurate down range just feels good in your hand. Nice balance with these stock weights. Love tang safety weapons. I'm also beta testing the new Prairie in 7prc as well. Heavy barrel and just bad arse. 5 shots touching at 100 is insane. Have stretched both out to 3-4-500 yds with zero issues and great accuracy. The Prairie of course with those barrels is holding a 3 shot group at 500 tighter but both are in 2.5" circle. I did extend to 750 on next shots and the Predator was heating up and having trouble staying on the 6" gong. After it cooled down was fine. Prairie never had a problem all 3 on the 6" easy.

I’ve owned several through the years and just bought a Gen 2 in 450 Bushmaster. They’ve all been great shooters of factory ammo for cheap factory rifles (sub half inch groups). You can order an aftermarket trigger spring for $12.95 if it bothers you. The Gen 2’s are much nicer from a fit and finish perspective than the Gen 1’s. Buy what you want, some of these guys around here are great at telling you what you should buy with your money. What I’m going to tell you is I’ve been pleased with the ones I’ve owned (relative to the price paid).

Not familiar with it. In the same boat as the OP. Care to explain?

Sauer is a german manufacturer. I think they're the oldest gun manufacturer in Germany. Back in the 70s or so they were imported by Colt and called Colt Sauer rifles.
Very good guns. Never had one but they're good.

I’m getting it for my daughter to shoot, hopefully one day grandchildren and me when I get older. I shot a Ruger Predator today with a suppressor and I’m definitely getting one now. But I’m thinking Gen 2 with a suppressor.

Any rifle suppressed will be much more pleasant for a child to use - from both a recoil and noise standpoint. I just purchased a new can for the Bushmaster I mentioned previously, expecting the email anytime now.

Short version is its a German Tikka. Really high quality rifle. Always reliable and always accurate.
Long verison - similar to Tikka / Sako, the 100 is their tikka t3 analog. Same quality as their $4k rifles and the same barrels. They save money on the 100 with other production cost facilitation like all calibers going on the same dimension action, cheaper stocks (but still good), plastic magazines, plastic trigger guard, etc.
If it were an america rifle it would cost $1800.

I wanted a 16” barrel 308. Went cheap and bought the ruger.
Should have gotten a GSR, 16" or 18" Ruger M77 platform that can take AICS mags.

Just bought one in .308 and a Banish 30V2 Silencer. Sounds like a 22 long rifle. With just the muzzle brake you will be deaf with one shot without hearing protection. Haven’t shot it at 100 yards yet. Just sighted in at 30 yards.
Bolt is a little hard to operate at first. Seems plenty accurate so far.
3 shot groups touching at 30 yards and sometimes same hole.
