Give me your top 5 suppressors for a 300 bkout, 10.5” barrel with subsonic ammo. Want the most decibel drop and lightest weight possible. Under $1000.

You're probably going to want a direct thread if you're looking to save weight

Jimbeam. Do you own a suppressor and tax stamp? There are more than 100 to choose from under $1000 just FYI. I have researched specs I know what I’m looking for and at. Looking for real world application testimonials.

Not trying to be a smartass but asking for all that sounds like someone wanting a bayboat to fish in 8” of water and take offshore for less than 10k. What I mean is you May have to sacrifice weight for decibel reduction and/or decibel reduction for price. I may be wrong as I’m new to the suppressor world. I opted for the Q trash panda for my 300 blackout with 10.5” barrel. I wanted good sound reduction and a QD mount. Got it for 1200 with the stamp.

I have a PTP Master Chief I shoot on a .300 BLK Out. It is a little heavy at about 20 oz but is .300 win mag rated. If you do not want magnum rated you can get the Senior Chief which saves about an ounce in weight and probably an inch in length.
Actually just got through sighting mine in this afternoon getting ready to shoot a few deer that are devastating my soybeans.

This is a drone picture of where the deer have been feeding in one of my fields. The field on the left was planted at the same time as the field on the right.

Why isn’t Trash Panda on your radar?

I’m 4 months into my wait for a Thunder Chicken

Dead Air is claiming low 120’s on the meter for 300BLK with the Wolfman, worth a look.

PTP Master Chief as 119 decibel listed shooting .300 blk out.

On a side note, shooting deer this time of year sucks because every one of them has 1 or 2 little 15-20 lb spotted fawns with them.

119 decibel

Don’t make your buying decisions based off of manufacturers decibel numbers. They are by and large total bullshite. Anyone with any experience doing sound testing will tell you that the numbers are useful for testing two items against each other on a given day at a given place and time. But that the numbers themselves will change the next day and the day after that. There are just too many variables to use a reading as a definitive benchmark. Not to mention that some manufacturers just outright lie.

Look at the cans construction, attachment method, price, warranty, rep of the manufacturer, etc and put the claimed dB numbers at the bottom of the list.

FWIW. I have a Thunder Beast and SureFire .300 cans and both of them are excellent.

I agree with you Gleason. DB reduction needs to be a real life test not what the internet tells you. Thunder Beast 9" is the real deal also the Yankee Hill Resonator. Will stand behind both of those dropping your db below 125 with subsonic 300bkout. Surefire has been on my bucket list just a little pricey.
