Put my mits on the Kimber 2k11 target (5") and the Sig P211 GTO today (no shots.) My god the slides on both were exceptional. Both triggers kicked arse too. I think i liked the G10 grips on the Sig a bit more, but both felt great in the hand.

I'm sunk at this point, just need to figure out which one wants to bleed my wallet more.

Whatever you do, don't play with a Staccato if you are looking at those two.

Yep it’s tough to beat a Staccato. My C is one of my most accurate and fastest guns I own. Crazy how good the trigger is out the box. The DLC coating is also top notch.

I shot a custom staccato and loved it. Not sure it felt 2k better than the other two, but to your point I don't want to look too hard.

They aren’t 2K more than the other 2. You can get a DLC Model C for $2699.

I’m not one to tell a man how to spend his money. Lord knows I’ve spent more than my fair share. This thread has been a negative effect on my bank account over the last few months. I’ve bought 3 guns on deals posted here….

the one I shot was all done up and fancy so it was silly expensive.

Bama, don't be humble, you've gotten me to spend more from this thread than I am comfortable reporting.

Im going back to my LGS to buy one of them tomorrow. I hate to admit it but I'm leaning Kimber because of looks.

I'll take a picture for B&B so he can revel in making me a little poorer.

I don't even want to go back from when this thread started and calculate how many thousands I've spent looking for deals and from stuff posted in this thread

I saw this earlier today and didn't act fast enough

Shadow Systems DR920 Foundation 9mm 17+1 4.5" Barrel Black Pistol - $399.99

Now it's basically sold out everywhere or anything in stock is $700

The biggest hurt for me has been ammo. But also, thank you.

Who makes the best MP5 knockoff? Doesn't MKE use HK licensed tooling?

They all use tooling that HK “retired”. That’s why you see some tolerance issues with the clones.

But roughly, they’re all the same price at around $1000-1200.

Century Arms AP5
Military Arms Company MAC5
Zenith ZF-5 ($2000)

Atlantic Firearms sell the AP5 and MAC5 all the time.

I have a Zenith Mp5K clone. Very happy with it. Made in USA with lifetime warranty. MKE is made in Turkey on older HK tooling. I would buy Zenith again.

Two pieces of advice if you buy. Get HK mags. They are expensive but worth every penny. If you mount an optic get an MFI low profile mount. Again much better than the regular mounts.
