How does it compare vs using thermals in your opinion? My buddy recently got himself an ar-10, and he's been floating the idea of doing some hog and yote eradication at his dad's couple thousand acre tree farm. I've seen a lot of good thermal info here, but not nearly as many NV posts.

A good Thermal for hunting is exponentially greater than NV. You can see shite coming from almost any distance. Easier with hogs follow up shots etc.

No one wants the 30 Super Carry, I've been saying it for a long time. I'm pretty sure S&W has discontinued this and the other 30SC version they have. ETA: they have. If they continue to get down around the $200 range around Black Friday & Christmas, I might pick one up just because.

I think this has more to do with marketing than anything. Bought for my fifteen year old daughter, and it's a lot of fun to shoot. Ammo is not expensive and easy to come by, and I am pretty sure that a self defense round would still f*** up anyone who deserves to catch lead

Thermals are a lot better overall. I have more NV scopes (3) than I do thermals (1). And, I always have a NV at my Mom’s property (coyotes) and my thermal is never up there.

I'd been wanting a Glock, but for some reason I bought a Sig P365 XMacro compenstated beginning of year instead. But then the announcement for the discontinuation of specific models for Glock hit and I had to jump before it got out of hand. All the sites that had it in stock this past summer were out of stock on the Glock G19x MOS FDE with threaded barrel. I finally found a site that had it for $699 and bought it. Will be here this week. However, that site has already bumped their price $30 right after I bought it.

Yeah you’re probably not going to find one in stock cheaper now. When there gone there gone. Really nice Glock there. You’ll be happy.
I bought a G49 MOS from PSA. Didn’t really need it but like the gun and I don’t think they are bringing it back on the other side.
I’m on the lookout for a G34 Gen5 MOS. They are OOS everywhere but GB.
