2019 GMC AT4 Tire Replacement Advice
Posted on 7/20/21 at 5:12 pm

I have 33K miles on my tires (original/factory Bridgestone Dueler 275/R620) and just ripped a sidewall on a poorly placed storm drain.
I figure I had 3-4K left on the tires.
My obvious options are:
A - buy a new tire then when the others wear out, move the new one to the spare (even though the spare has never been used).
B - Replace all 4 tires.
If I choose option B, do you guys have any suggestions?
I like the stance/ride/quietness of the original tires but may like something slightly bigger.
I never go in heavy mud and am after longevity.
Thanks in advance for the advice!

I have BFG KO2’s on my 2020 Sierra. I have 44K miles on them with plenty of tread left. They ride pretty good with not a lot of noise.

B.
Try Discount Tire, they gave me $40. ea. for my orig tires w/ 50k on them. Trade ‘em in for a fresh set.

If you like factory you can call and ask for takeoffs.

I have a 2019 SLT with leveling kit and had 295/60/20 Ridge Grapplers that were awesome and now have 295/60/20 Trail Grapplers that I like a lot as well but think they’re probably a little too big.

Ridge Grapplers are the only answer.

I just bought a set of 275/60/20 cooper discoverer rugged treks a couple weeks ago and am very pleased. Was going to get ridge grapplers but found a great deal on ebay (saved $200 over the same size RG's) and all of the reviews were great. Not to mention they have a 60k mile mileage warranty compared to no warranty on the RG's, not like it was that big of a deal though.

K02s or Ridge Grapplers

Why? And be specific
I don't need tires at the moment but I'm researching tires for when I do. I never considered Toyo or Nittos but a guy at Discount gave both a glowing reviews (I was at Discount getting a rotation and balance). I don't need off-road. I have the same ATs as the OP on my '20 AT4 and while they're OK I'm not knocked out by them.
