so if someone pays 20k and sells for 10k and another person pays 25k and sells for 15k, Who got the better deal?
I wouldn't say that either is "better".
But one has 50% of it's value and one has 60%. I would rather have 60% of the value, but that's just me.

what ever you say man. both guys have 10k at the end yet one had to front more.

Getting this thread back on track. This is the build I just did. All black Lariat Sport FX4. Went with the 3.5 EB.

Did you ever go drive a Tundra?
I know i'm in the minority, but I like them.
Tundra's are reliable long term. Why drive anything else if you just need a 1/2 ton.

What'd they do to that beautiful King Ranch leather?
Java? WTF?
The new leather is what makes me want a new truck

Only 18mpg with the 2.7? That doesn't sound right.

Ford is tight lipped about the official numbers. They have indicated 5 to 20% gains to existing.

If that's true, I just quit caring altogether about Ford. Might as well get the Tundra if shitty gas mileage is still the norm.

So Yahoo is reporting 18 mpg avg. and Jalopnik could only manage 23 hwy mpg driving slow...all signs are beginning to point to the 2.7 not being the revolutionary efficient motor it was made out to be.

Half the power
Equal the fuel economy

That's what I have been reading.

It's still got 300 HP I believe
I'm not in the market for a 2.7 though

Probably at 85000 rpms.
I had a full size truck built in 1994 with a 4.3 motor that would get 24mpg if I tried to get it and could easily handle pulling an 18' bass boat. You'd think we'd have some major improvements on that in the past 20 years.
