Bought a jack plate but the holes drilled through transom don't line up...filled them with fiberglass filler and will drill new holes to match this weekend.

Looks really great. Lotta hard work there.

If that transom has a wooden core. As far as through hull holes below water line, drill a little bigger hole then seal it with epoxy (best) or 5200 or some permanent sealer to ensure water won’t get into that transom.

Try a light skim of this, block sand it out and then paint. Only apply in the areas that have a pit or severe scratch marks, not meant to be a all over type of product.
Thank you for this tip

I can honestly say that every time you post pictures I see noticeable change. It’s looking great.

You sure you don’t want to put a pinstripe or two on that dude??

I would love to see a finalized budget of total cost spent and man hours applied. The fact that you have gotten to this point in less than a year is awesome

I've kept track with every expense on the remodel...from fiberglass repair to painting to electronic purchases. Everything.

I bought these guys last week since I'm close to being done with the cosmetics

My OCD is kicking in and I can't stop trying to make it perfect...at some point I just have to accept that its not going to be perfectly smooth and just move on

I did put the dash shroud on and hook up all of the switches though

NP on the glaze hint, are you blocking it out with wet or dry sand paper (used wet and a touch of soap doesn't hurt) about 320 grit or so?

wet sand with 320 grit...didnt add soap

I still have a few more spots I want to touch up, then I will paint one more coat topside and one more on bottom of hull and call it a day on painting. Still have to buff out the boat though

Still have to add rub rail and jack plate, then I will be driving the boat down to Pompano Beach and have a 140 HP Suzuki put on the back

Did you ever figure out who was going to do all of the wiring?

All of the wiring is there in the boat...Only thing missing is the steering hoses, harness, throttle cables, control box, gauges, steering helm, and seats.

I have placed an order for the seats and the rest comes with the motor purchase. The marina in FL will be doing the install, leaving me to install the electronics and trolling motor.
